PORTRAIT PRICING

Current portrait rates are listed on the pricing page. These rates are subject to change. The current price for your portrait at the time of payment will be applied to your commission. 

Some situations may incur an additional cost in the painting price, such as:

  • Requests for a specific background or elements when proper customer photos are not provided.
  • The need for me to fill-in incomplete and complex customer photos, such as missing body parts that have been cut off in the photograph.
  • Having to fix poor resolution subjects by incorporating my own reference photos. A complex or specific composition that requires more time in the pre-painting stage than usual.
  • Significant changes to a successful finished painting, especially when requests are made after you've approved the pre-painting composition.

However, any and all of these would be discussed before you are charged extra.

Pets with people will cost more, please inquire for those prices.

For just people or other subjects entirely please ask for information and price list.

For pieces over $300 you have the option to pay 50% up front and 50% upon completion - please contact me for a custom quote if you wish to do so.

Prices to not include shipping and handling fees.

 

SHIPPING + DELIVERY

All items in shipped via USPS Mail, FedEx or UPS. Custom orders worldwide automatically include insurance, and orders shipped within the United States include delivery confirmation to ensure safe transit and prompt delivery.

You can trust that your item(s) will be carefully wrapped and protected for transit. Once an item has shipped, you will receive a notification email from me with a tracking number for your reference.

Estimated arrival times vary, if you've purchased custom artwork, I ask that you allow an average of 6-8 weeks, assuming prompt communication on your end. If you've ordered multiple custom pieces, additional time may be needed and will be discussed at time of purchase.

Keep in mind that all of the above are delivery estimates, and you may receive item(s) sooner or later depending on your location. 

Please ensure that your ship-to address is correct before proceeding with checkout. We cannot be responsible for items shipped to an incorrectly listed address.

All items are shipped from Bellingham, Washington.

 

REFUNDS + EXCHANGES

I hope that you are delighted with your purchase, but in the off chance that you encounter a problem or your item arrives damaged, please email me within 15 days of receiving your order. I will remedy each situation and facilitate a return or exchange (with the exception of custom work, see next) on a case by case basis. After 15 days of receiving your item(s), a refund or exchange cannot be facilitated.

Any and all custom work decisions - including color and background choices, pet styling and photos chosen - are confirmed with you before being made. We cannot refund or exchange completed custom work, but if a problem arises, we ask that you email me within 15 days of receiving your order. I am willing to work with you to ensure you love your art.  

Non-responsive orders not carried out within 1 year of the purchase date are subject to termination without refund. You will be contacted by me no less than 2 times within that year for further proceedings.

 

COPYRIGHT

I retain the reproduction rights on all of my original artwork. Which means I have the right to reproduce and / or use your pet’s artwork to promote my business! 

You must receive written consent if you wish to use a painting or design for commercial use.  However, you may use a custom artwork for personal reasons, such as posting to Facebook. If an image is shared through social media, please attribute the artist, Kendra Aldrich.
